One World, One Heart

Wow! It's been a LONG time since I posted! But, I'm here again because I decided to join in on this fun One World, One Heart fun giveaway that is being sponsored by Lisa Oceandreamer. This is her second year doing this and it's such a neat way of getting the blogging community to connect with each other. Go to her website if you want the details and a list of blogs who are participating.

I'm going to give away this quilled cardinal pin, which is about 2 and 1/4 inches long. All you need to do is leave me a comment on this post. Make sure you leave your email address if you don't have a blog so I'll know how to get in touch with you if you're the winner. I'll draw a name on February 14th and announce the winner that day. I'll get in touch with the winner and let you know that you won.

Good luck!
Note: I had a question about international participants. YES, I will send this bird anywhere in the world. How cool would that be to have one of my pins traveling across the big water?? Just make sure I have a way of contacting you if you're the winner - either on your blog or by email.

Feb. 11 Note: WOW!! Since there has been so many comments - 156 already! I've decided to offer 2 more prizes, so there will be THREE winners! I am going to number all of the comments, then use a random number generator to choose 3 numbers. I will choose these numbers on February 14, so all entries need to be by midnight, EST, on February 13. I will contact the winner by email, or on their blog. You might want to check back here, too just to see if you might have won. Once I notify the winner, she/he will have 5 days (to allow for work, vacations, etc) to get in touch with me about where to send your prize.

The prizes will be more quilling. An apple pin and a duck pin. I hope you like these...

Oh my goodness!
This little cardinal is wonderful ... I mean really really fabulous. I didn't know what 'quilling' was until I saw this tiny little creature captured in this form of art. I am SO hoping I win him!!

Wish I could stay longer. That I didn't have to run. To stay and visit, look through pages and share thoughts.
Alas, I must take my leave or I shall never EVER make it to every one of the delightful blogs on the OneWorld-OneHeart Chain of Magic ::sigh:: So many blogs, not enough tea on the planet to keep me awake ::giggle::

So happy to meet you.
I'm just around the corner ... Hope you will stop by the cottage to peek in the window & say hello too!

=^..^=love, zU

Hi, as you said international bloggers can enter the giveaway, I would like to. Your pin is too georgeous !

sandee said...

This is a great idea! However, I just moved across country and have most of my stuff in storage. What I would like to do, is go into as many of the blogs as I can and sign in. If my name gets pulled by anyone as a winner, I will donate $100 to AIDS Foundation in memory of my brother. If my name gets selected more than once, I will up the ante an additional $10 every time it gets pulled (greedy I know, but one can dream!!!) If my name is not pulled by anyone, I will still make a $50 donation. This way, everyone is a winner.

I hope to get my name drawn at least once.

This is so unusual, quite striking. I just started a collection of redbirds this Christmas - was not expecting to, but received 3 things from different people - so a new collection born!

Wow - I have never seen so much creativity with this technique. I am used to the flowers and leaves with this. Great work!

Oh wow these are very lovely pins! I think I know JUST the person to give one of these too. I have a friend who is obsessed with duckies ^_^

Best of luck to everyone
